| Rev. Piper Cartland has been joyfully serving as Eagle River’s pastor since 2002. She grew up in Southern California and is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary. Prior to moving to Alaska in 1998, Piper’s primary ministry was with children and families, especially her own – husband Paul, who was career Navy and now is a project manager for the state of Alaska, and children Connor, Cameron and Christa. Paul completed his Navy career in Bremerton, WA, but before that the Cartland family lived on both coasts and at a Navy base in Sardinia, Italy, where they all learned to love traveling and Italian food. Besides her family, Piper loves Italian cooking, Mariners baseball, playing the piano, and two dogs - a chocolate lab named Finn and his little brother Riley. |
